In case you have any desire to read a boring paper on user studies,
its here, apologies for the basic format of the HTML, it just had to be posted on the web in some format.

http://home.att.net/~mmcnealy/511_ROL.htm

In moving news, we are out of the house and staying at a hotel for the next week until we head down to CA on Monday. I don't have internet access in the room, and its limited elsewhere, so its amazing how productive I'm being with schoolwork. I'm such a distractable person.

I feel a whole lot better than on Saturday, thanks for all the kind wishes and comforting thoughts.

Need to go round up some lunch and get started on my other final. Its almost over with, PTL.

Hurray for feeling better and productive schoolwork!

So... I read your whole paper. Not only that, I even found it somewhat intriguing. :-) Maybe you'll be like the woman in Snow Crash who designed the crucial feature in the "Net" which made it suddenly wildy popular and practical.

Ok, here's a socio-type question. How many of the researchers you cited are female?

I'm glad you liked it, my professor did too! :) It turned into one of those papers that could have easily been a 6 month project and 50-70 pages long, it was hard to reign it in and not let it become a thesis project.

Is Snow Crash a book or a movie? Either way I'll have to get it.

I'd have to guess about 50% female, not all authors give their first names other than an initial. There definitly seems to be more of a tendency in the articles for women to want to know the why and men the how. I wonder why that is? Anyway, "Why?" is my favorite question.

I am sorry I was abrupt with you when you left anne-marie's. I was starting to tear up. If i would have started crying, you would have started Then Rysha would have joined in & the whole party would have been a big downer. Yes i know you will be coming back for the weekend in 2 weeks, But I hate goodbyes & I am very very sad that you are leaving

I hate goodbyes too! And thanks for being abrupt and not crying, cause I was on the edge that entire day. We went out to lunch so I wouldn't burst into tears but I ended up sniffling and tearing up anyway.

Damn, I hate moving!
