Projects for today

Today has already been pretty productive, even if I did sleep in.
Done:
- Re-organized kitchen
- Washed clothes
- Got sewing area all set up
- Bookshelves organized
To Do's
- Homework
- Answer emails
- Go to library and place ILL requests
- Analyze blue-green dress and decide what to do.
I'm half tempted to just scrap the dress and take the lessons learned from it to create a new dress. Except that it probably wouldn't happen.
I'm having a serious case of 'shiney new project' syndrome. I want a tent, furniture, dishes, accoutraments, etc. needed for a modest yet stunning encampment. Except that I have none of the skills to make it, nor the money to buy it. But I do have the books to reasearch it, so reasearch and document it is right now. ;(
Plus, I have all these costuming projects that I want to work on. 1480's Hausbuch dresses, dresses out of Alcega, Schwab with fur collar and trim, and the list goes on....
Then there's the headresses that I want to make. Several different types of Steuchlein, Bundelein, Sturz.
And the knitting projects....
And the embroiderey projects....
And the research projects...
However, I know that not working is not the answer as I get practically nothing accomplished when I'm not working, so having a job is good for more than just the paycheck, it also helps my productivity and my waistline! I've lost 5lbs since starting this job on Monday, guess I've been to busy and entertained to snack all the time.
Off to go whittle down the list.
