A scary night

Last night as I was getting into bed, there was a knock at the door. It was Tina my next door neighbor. She had been asleep and someone came to her front door and tried to pry it open with a crowbar!

Well, she started yelling and called the police, the almost intruder got away. I made sure all my doors and windows where locked last night and got a good nights sleep. But it makes you wonder, were after her stuff or after her?

Progress so far:

Yesterday got declared an official sick day, it was just a bad day all around and the issue with the attempted burglery late last night, right next door, just topped it off.

Today has been a much better day, all the research papers are read, noted and commented on, plus I now KNOW what the paper is supposed to be about. Funny how reading 19 research papers gives you a perspective on what the teacher wants.

I just don't know why it had to be this big huge secret? Why couldn't she have just come out and said "Read a whole bunch of user studies, decide what approaches to studying people you do and don't like, write about all of it then outline a study you'd like to do with this user group." Was it that hard to clearly say? Don't know. I feel like a guru for figuring it out though.

Anyway, the readings done and now its onto the writing of the paper, the assignment and the question for the week. And all I want to do is bake cakes and knit hats. But I'm not going to do that cause otherwise I'm screwed next week when I'll actually have time to do that but I missed the deadlines.
