Simple, yet complex

Research projects can just be a kicker sometimes! I have lots of scans of Housebook Master dresses that I want to put up, as well as my theory on construction and layers. However, to provide evidence for my theory, I'm having to dig back to pre-1400 and show the progression of German women's fashion from cotehardie through houppelande influenced styles to the stylized look that shows up in the Housebook Master drawings.

Why can't I just write something simple? Why does everything turn into a serious project that verges on a PhD thesis? Why can't I just let go and put unsupported arguements out there? Sometimes my OCD and perfectionist tendancies are quite annoying!
