To do's and THE Pink Augsburg gown, to finish or not to finish?

Today has just been the slowest day, everything just seems to be slogging along like molasses in January, maybe if I wasn’t so tired it would go faster.


Here’s my plan for the evening:
-Make dinner
-Clean kitchen and run dishwasher
-Collect all piles of mail and papers into one spot, organize and pitch the ones that are junk.
-Mop kitchen floor
-Vaccum
-Fold clothes and clean up bedroom.
-Organize sewing area


Hmmm… If I get half of that done it’ll be a highly productive evening


I am thinking of putting the Pink Augsburg dress on hold for the winter, I’m still interested in the project, but I am feeling the tug of the 1560-1570’s and Alcega. I suppose I should just bite the bullet and finish the dress, since I already have the bodice and skirts cut out, I should just finish it instead of putting it off, ‘cause I know if I put it off its not ever gonna get done. Its just those sleeves..... That's what's holding me up, those sleeves scare me.

I so need to organize and plan my sewing life. Its in a current state of confusion and lack of direction and I have lost my momentum of the summer. Maybe I will get it back on Saturday, I sure hope so, however laying around all day and watching a something by Jane Austen sounds really good to.
