Getting things done!
May. 13th, 2003 02:32 pmI am currently feeling exceptionally virtuous. I have been working on the strap eyelets on my sister's corset, one strap to go! I got a few more inches knitted on the hat, and most importantly... Drum roll please
I actually got the outer fabric for the Enn's gown cut out last night!
With skirt piecings!
I am feeling so good about that project right now. Now I need to cut out the lining fabric, but I am thinking of just lining it to the waist or maybe the mid-hips... German women weren't into the fashion of showing off the insides of their skirts so it wouldn't show if I didn't.
And then its down to the sleeves, which I don't have a pattern for. They are just standard set in sewn in sleeves. Can I adapt a commercial pattern by moving the seam line and call it good?
It is so warm here today, 64 degrees, I was able to go around in my sleevless top at lunch, didn't need my sweater today, its actually starting to feel like we might be warming up. Of course tomorrow the projected high is 57 and raining, but at least today is nice and sunny.
