I think the reason I have been in such a funk lately is lack of excercise. The day after I go fencing or work out I always feel so happy and alive and just better. If I miss a day, then the next day I am down in the dumps and feeling awful. Must remember to excercise every day, would be good for the waistline too.

I went to footwork and open fencing last night and I feel so very much better today, even though I had a really depressing discussion with Matt after I got home about finances. I wish I could put that word in dripping blood font. Ugh, I hate the necessity of budgets.

Today is sunny and clear so I took lots of pictures of the orange and black dress and as soon as the battery recharges I am going to finish up that diary and post the gallery. Sooo clooose.....

[livejournal.com profile] ysabelot is coming over this afternoon so I can take measurements and draft her a basic body block and a corset pattern.  Should be a lot of fun!

Thanks! :)

I'm curious, which part do you find most amazing?

The orange dress, with sleeves and a hat :)

I love it, and I'm always impressed when people actually make the sleeves and hat. I still haven't got around to mine.

Sleeves are a lot easier than they look, I'm working on instructions on how to draft them.

Since I have short hair, something to cover the obviously wrong hair style is a necessity. Truth is I made it in about 6 hours. Had done tons of research and then late one night before my first event, I just made it in a spurt of productivity. Procrastination is my muse.

That's what happens to me, too. For instance, tomorrow afternoon I will finish my winter jacket that I haven't really worked on in weeks, because I want to wear it to my parents, and I catch the ferry early on Thursday morning. *sigh* I need to learn to devote a little time every day to these things.

If you figure out a way to devote a little time each day to things, let me know. For me its spurts or nothing. For example, I haven't even touched a sewing machine or any fabric since the 6th of Janurary before today, just didn't feel like it. But I have an event in 3 weeks that I want to wear something new to, so I had better get sewing no?

Hope you have a great visit with your parents!

If I figure it out, I'll ace all my classes, too, since getting a good grade apparently depends on reviewing a little every night :)
