Crying for Joy
Mar. 16th, 2004 12:16 pmThere's this book that I've been coveting at the University of Washington library for the last year and a half, 600+ pages of gorgeous artwork, color photos of stuff I'd only seen in b/w. I lust after this book, but its "Library Use Only", so no checking it out to scan pics out of it. The book title is
Die Gemälde des 16. Jahrhunderts / bearbeitet von Kurt Löcher, unter Mitarbeit von Carola Gries ; technologische Befunde, Anna Bartl und Magdalene Gärtner
Today I was hunting around for a copy, just to see how much the damage to my pocket book would be (since the last time I looked it was around $80+), when I discovered a copy on Amazon for $20! So of course I ordered it. I'm so happy, estatic with joy! Yes, I'm an artbook nut, why do you ask?
*sigh* Come here my pretty little paintings....

She's very vague and I'm trying to encourage her to pin it down a little and actually make some garb, so anything you think can help her make a decision would be greatly appreciated!
